Custom Design Work & Payment Policy

Effective 1st July 2026, Christmas Props Australia is introducing a new policy governing custom design work and associated payment terms. This policy ensures we can continue to deliver high-quality, original props and signage with reliable turnaround times for every customer.

1. Design Fee

All custom design work requires a flat design fee of $50 (AUD, inc. GST), payable in full before any artwork commences. Where an order proceeds to production, this fee will be credited toward the final invoice. This credit applies to the initial design fee only; charges for revisions beyond the included rounds (see Clause 3) are billed separately and will not be reimbursed or credited toward the final invoice.

2. How to Order

All custom design requests must be submitted through our Custom Prop Design page at https://christmaspropsaustralia.com.au/product/custom-prop-design/. The order form must be completed in full before any design work can be scheduled. No custom design work will commence until the completed form and design fee have been received.

3. Revisions

Each custom design includes four (4) rounds of revisions at no additional charge. Any further revisions are billed at $50 per revision, payable at the time the revision is requested. Revision charges are non-refundable and are not credited toward the final invoice.

4. Turnaround Time

Custom design work may take up to two (2) months from commencement to cutting, depending on the level of detail within the design. This timeframe reflects the volume of work that may already be in production at the time your order is placed; every job in our queue receives the same care and attention. Please factor this timeframe into your planning, particularly for seasonal displays.

5. Limited Availability

Custom design spots are limited each calendar year and are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. Once the year’s allocation is filled, no further custom design work will be accepted until the following year.

6. Ownership of Artwork

All designs, artwork, and production files created by Christmas Props Australia remain the exclusive property of Christmas Props Australia at all times. Christmas Props Australia retains full and unrestricted rights to use, reproduce, adapt, and commercialise such work at its sole discretion, including the addition of custom designs to our standard product range. This clause does not apply to logos, artwork, or other material supplied by the customer, which remains the property of its owner; by supplying such material, the customer grants Christmas Props Australia a licence to use it for the purpose of completing the order and warrants that they hold the rights to do so.

7. Refunds and Consumer Rights

Design fees are non-refundable once design work has commenced. Nothing in this policy excludes, restricts, or modifies any rights or remedies available to you under the Australian Consumer Law.

Existing quotes and orders placed prior to the effective date of this policy will be honoured under the previous terms. We thank you for your continued support and look forward to bringing your next display to life.
